Location: Miami, FL. A high floor oceanfront penthouse with sweeping views of the Atlantic, the Intracoastal, and the skyline beyond.

Client Type: Empty nesters, as a sophisticated pied a terre.

Design Goal: The clients wanted a glamorous, light filled retreat that captured the energy and ease of coastal Miami living. With the spectacular water views as the anchor, they sought interiors that felt open and effortless while still delivering a collector’s sense of art, color, and personality, a sophisticated escape designed for relaxed entertaining and indulgent downtime.

The home is contemporary glamour with a vibrant coastal sensibility, pairing clean modern lines with bold artful moments. The palette is built on a luminous foundation of white, ivory, and pale oak, energized by confident accents of cobalt and sky blue, black, and metallic silver.

Materials are sleek and refined, from lacquered and high gloss surfaces to leather, glass, and polished metal. Signature details give the home its collected, cosmopolitan character: pop and contemporary art, Murano style glass and statement chandeliers, animal print and organic patterned textiles, sculptural accents, and custom millwork with decorative inlay. Tonally the work is bright, glamorous, spirited, and sophisticated.

Our scope spanned space planning, finish and material selection, lighting design, window treatments, and furnishing and styling. We designed the interiors to frame and defer to the panoramic views, keeping architectural finishes clean and luminous while layering in art, color, and texture to bring warmth and personality.

Lighting was approached with drama and nuance, weaving together sculptural chandeliers, recessed accent sources, and statement lamps to flatter both the spaces and the collection within them. Furnishings blend sleek modern silhouettes with tactile, expressive pieces, creating interiors that feel curated and worldly, a polished, joyful retreat designed for the way the clients live and entertain by the sea.
