Design Goal: The client was seeking refined, livable luxury throughout. Our goal was to modernize and elevate the interior of a home the clients already loved. The setting and grounds were stunning, and they wanted the house to rise to that same grandeur. Drawn to warm neutrals and a restrained palette, the clients sought to invite in abundant natural light and create a quiet frame for the beauty of the property beyond.
The home is transitional with a warm contemporary sensibility, balancing relaxed comfort with polished sophistication. The palette is built on natural neutrals: rift-cut white oak, creamy painted cabinetry, white marble, light oak flooring, and soft upholstery in taupe, greige, and ivory, accented with brushed nickel and warm silver metals.
Signature details carry across the spaces, including custom millwork, two-tone cabinetry pairing painted finishes with warm wood, layered integrated lighting, glass-shelved illuminated display, and statement decorative fixtures. Tonally the work is warm, airy, serene, and luminous.
Our scope spanned space planning, custom cabinetry and millwork design, finish and material selection, lighting design, and furnishing and styling. A consistent philosophy of layered lighting runs throughout, weaving together ambient, task, and accent sources, from recessed and decorative fixtures to integrated cove and toe-kick illumination and softly lit display niches.
Custom millwork anchors the interiors, each piece tailored to the function of its room. By opening up the floor plan, we transformed the home’s once closed and dim interiors into bright, inviting, distinctly modern spaces.
